Bio

For more than 30 years, Beth Tishler has served in numerous leadership positions in the nonprofit community. Prior to starting her consulting practice in 1997, Beth was the Executive Director of the Newton Schools Foundation for five years. Earlier, she held management positions with Family Service of Greater Boston, Facing History & Ourselves and the Massachusetts Easter Seal Society.

Beth is a frequent speaker at fundraising conferences, workshops, and board meetings. Her topics have included major gifts, campaign solicitation training, board responsibilities, time management, and the challenges of running a small development office.

She serves on the boards of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Massachusetts chapter, the Executive Committee of the Anti-Defamation League and Understanding Our Differences. Beth also is the Chair of the John C. Chaffin Educational Fund and the Advisory Committee to the Office of Volunteer Services, Newton, MA.
